Okay, second post in 10 min. Anyway, the game won't load. I do start new game, then select lvl 1, and the game freezes on the loading screen...:flame:

ARGH! I can't figure this forum out. Okay, so, my comp is bran-new, well, a year old, top of the line. It doesn't have Vista though, but I don;t need it...and when I do ctrl+alt+del, it says that half life 2 isn't responding...

... if it's a year old I doubt it's still top of the line, but i guess it's enough to run it? Are you playing with that damn steam program? Cause, you don't have to... Do you not use it/ That's the best way.

Im pretty sure you need steam to play it. Do you know what your actual specs are mrgamer? Like what your video card is and what you processor is?
