Unplayable in more "Open" enviroments.

PROBLEM : In single player, the game ran great all the way up to the part involving the trains (more open enviroment), then it
turned into a bad lag fest. In multiplayer, I can't even move without it lagging really bad (feels like I'm moving in slow motion).

Indeed. Your graphic card cannot handle it. And seeing as most laptops are non-upgradeable (at least not in that area), you might have to play it on another computer.
