Updating...

How do I update CS:S without having to download the patch? I have the newest version on this computer, and want to put it on another computer with another steam account, what are all the files I need to copy? I tried just the CS:S folder but it still wants to download the patch.

Hmmm id assume that would work considering its everything CSS related. Maybe the update is for Halflife 2 source engine tweaks etc. Checked the monitor? Maybe you need those engine tweaks for CSS as well considering its on it.

Transfer the GCF/GCF's, i do this alot : p

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps
