That's exactly what I hate about Halo 2. There's virtually no gap between a person that just started and a veteran player. I just hope the game doesn't suffer in the same way.

Luckily the guy was only talking about changing gravity so I hope they don't mess with weapon balance. I may suck in UT2K4 but once I'm good I want to be proud of the fact that I got there by practicing and playing the best rather than being good simply because the game design is different.

I agree totally. If i play long and hard to get good at a game, practicing and perfecting my techniques, i want it to be through my own doing. It make take time to master certain games, but the rewards are worth it once you get there (something i never persevered with as far as BF2 was concerned )
