Valve validation servers.

Is anyone else having problems with the Valve CD key validation servers? I'm attempting to register HL2 and it's coming back with a "CD key invalid" nearly instantly. I would post on steampowered but their site seems to be down as well.

There are 2 sets of numbers correct?

I would check on the steam support site.

Also check carefully that 0 and O ain't getting mixed up and other similar letters vs numbers combos aint getting you confused(belive me I usually do it)

Although it does not look like the auth servers are down.

There's only one set of numbers on the back of the first CD. I've checked and double checked and it seems it's still not working.

Yes, although it still doesn't want to work.

If it's nearly instant it's going to be a problem with the data validation on the client when it checks that the key is in the right format. Type out your key's pattern here with letters as A and numbers as 0.
