How can i cure Vampirism =\ ?
I think im a 100% Vampire now, i read somewhere on the web that i need to go to someone in the university, but when i try to contact him he shouts " BACK OFF YOU BEAST ! "

I contracted Vamparism really early on. After I cured the people from there invisability in that village near the Imperial City, I stayed in the Inn that night and contracted it. Was a bit annoying because I was still trying to figure out everything.

I'm up to the point where I've got to get 5 Grand Soul Gems. I only have 1 at the moment although I did get another one from Oblivion which seems to have gone missing.

I just created a new, Breton Mage type character. Typically, I fall asleep and low and behond I'm bitten or something and I'm turning in to a Vampire.

My first character is already a Vampire so I can't be bothered to go through the complete quest to get the cure again. Apparently, you can cure yourself from Porphyric Hemophilia as soon as you catch it but when I try any of the curing methods (cure disease potion, blessed at the altar of any temple) nothing happens and I still transform into a Vampire. This is annoying because my character is partically physically weak so Vamparism really holds no real advantages.

Why don't any of the methods work? I did fight some Vampires a while ago but wouldn't I have contracted it then? I thought I'd put this here instead of creating a new thread.

Whenever I contracted the disease, all I did was go drink a cure disease potion. Although I always did it before I slept, and I usually also went to a shrine in a city to just make sure it was cured. I hate how it doesnt say if you cured anything.
