Those dates are all plausable. They're likely to have had that estimate from Vivendi or Sierra also.

Well the reason pretty much everyone here ignores all the release date info is because we are all SICK and TIRED of someone posting about the release date, usually containing their guess/asking for others guess/informing everyone of how a store changed their date. No one here cares for any dates told after all of the incorrect info on release dates that have gone on.

If it has been announced for summer, then putting the beginning of fall as a release date is just playing it smart. I thought fall (And by that im assuming you mean Autumn) started in August or has someone changed the way we measure the seasons(Like the Millenium not starting till 2001)

who cares when the exact date of summer ending is? Getting news should be the indicator of whether or not its goign to be out soon or not.

testers may send it back or some unforseen thing might happen, it may or may not get released within our various calenders of summer. Maybe vivendi (or someone) will want to prepare a Special Ed before they publish game, or perhaps something weird with the game will occur a la CZ. Valve may ship on time, but who knows what could happen after that?
