Vista laptop hard drive light

I have a new Acer 5920 laptop and ive found the hard drive light flashes ever half second even though its idle.

Ive disabled Search Indexer using this link:

What could be causing this? Having looked at the 'Reliability and Performance' tool it shows something called 'mcbuilder.exe' is running. What is this?

My Vista is the same way, I'm guessing that this might have something to do with it

As for mcbuilder.exe apparently it is the "Microsoft Resource Cache Builder Tool". Make of that what you will, I couldn't find much info on it.
