Want to erase Chapter Selection

Hi I just completed Half Life 2, and I want to play the game again.

Although, When I click New Game, I see all the chapters I completed, but I want those chapters to be erased so it forces me to start from chapter 1.

Where can I edit the game files.

Just click the first chapter and you will proceed though the game as normal( meaning it won't go back to the menu everytime you finisha chapter).

Yes, that idiot comment was unnessisary. You guys dont get it anyways,. he knows he can start at the begining,. he wants to be forced to start at the begining.

You'll find your save files here:

\Steam\SteamApps\<your account>\half-life 2\hl2\SAVE

I'm guessing if you downloaded the files in there, it would not have the chapter selection.

Yeah, a weird request indeed. I guess deleting all your saved games would erase the chapter selection as well.
