Ya...may I remind you there is a easier way...connect to Xbox live, put in a XBOX game disk and it will automatically update the drivers for all XBOX games...meh, you should of known that.

Well i only got the core version after waiting 7 hours on launch day in line(That's all they had). Then i go home and order a harddrive which the website says is in stock, but then they email telling me they wont expect to get anymore until February. So yeah, there isnt' too much i can do.

you can still just download updates off the list of all compatible games on the 360 and play right? without going through the CD burning process?

You can just download updates. Hell, I think GTA was already on the list of backward compatible games.

You can just update it using Xbox live, just need to hook it to the internet. and they know most games are compatible with the 360, they just want to make sure they all work.

Ontopic: Isn't there a huge list of games which can already be played on the 360 with a download from xbox live? And that list gets updated too!

it isnt a bad idea... but a waste of time. Whatever games work ... work. Basically what microsoft is doing, is systematically going thru all the games and creating patches for em. So the only remedy to play some of your original favs.. is to wait! lol
