just to throw something a bit different into the mix, i recommend this EP. its hard to describe but its like listening to all your favourite memories of summer when you were young through an old knackered cassette. slightly 80s, beautifully made and ultimately so happy and warm it makes me curl a brown one in joy

edit: i got life of leisure and i'm really enjoying it, esp. get up, hold out and feel it all around. it's making me really excited for summer down here in falmouth when we can really utilize the beach, harbour front, cobble street walks, countryside and warm nights outside on campus with drinks.

it also makes me really envious of people who grew up in all the above but all their life, on the coasts of america and stuff. surfer blood made me jealous, even more so now.
