Just watched it on channel 4, and I have to say it is the most terrifying children's film ever. :(

That film scarred me. They actually forced us to watch this in Primary school.

Apart the swearing seagull that is. :P

Piss off! Stupid bunny!

I only watched the last 30 mins when I switched over for Countdown. Yeah it seemed pretty dark and scary.

I saw it today, and back when I was a kid too. It's pretty trippy, and gory for a kids' movie. Cool alternative to disney stuff, though.

For anyone who hasn't seen it it's about a bunch of rabbits who go searching for a new warren, with lots of death and weirdness along the way.

Its aimed more at adults than kids, thats why its so dark. If you think thats bad, check out "Plague Dogs" :x

But people think it's for kids. I remember watching it when I was young, and having nightmares about that ghost rabbit for agges.

Thats its point though. To kill you in your sleep.

I believe the movie was supposed to symbolize the American Revolution. Or something along those lines...I forgets.

Anyway, I <3 Watership Down.

True. When I saw it as a child it really disturbed me to see those cute little bunnies fighting and bleeding and dying. Not exactly a Disney flick....

Ive never seen the film, but I ****ing loved the book. Violent, superb plot/characters, truly epic.
