I'm assuming that you are asking if there will be different models for enemies that are technically the same, such as different zombie models. I don't know, but there are different models for City 17 civilians so there probably will be for enemies.

NO, HL2 is about Alyx and Eli I think. There is only one type of monster called the headcrab, it will come with 1 soundfile (see the preload GCF) and it has one skin. They are the small yellow critters you encountered in HL. To make HL2 more realistic than HL, Gabe decided that there should be a smaller amount of 'unrealistic' enemies in HL2, so they decided to cut out all enemies, so you can enjoy the story more.
