Up until last night, I just did not care for weird al yankovic. While i'll admit that it had been quite some time since I last listened to anything by him, (Like at least 15 years) but the last time I did, I didn't think he was funny. Then last night my wife told me about a few songs that she she listened to over on Yahoo Music that made her crack up & my wife is NOT one that just cracks up any anything.

So after listening to the music video she wanted me to listen to, I ended up spending the next hour watching every video from weird al yankovic I could find.

I highly advise you to watch "Amish Paradise" & "Trapped in the drive through"

I fully support the above posters thoughts and/or opinions. (Reginald)

Cba with that anymore. I ceased to find it funny once puberty kicked in.
I find it annoying how each song now irratates me, yet I know most of them word for word.

Even post-puberty, you can't deny the awesomeness of stuff like The Saga Begins and Smells Like Nirvana.

Yeah, the food and TV songs get old, as do some of the songs where the lyrics are pretty much incoherent lists of individually funny things. But a lot of it's still good. And his band is amazing in terms of musicianship, able to convincingly imitate almost anybody and also do awesome polkas.

It depends on my mood. When I set my musicplayer to randomly play all my music, and he comes on, I usually just hit the next button. But sometimes I just lol for the entire song.

Also, since I heard saga before the actual American Pie song... whenever I hear American Pie, I always start singing the saga lyrics in my head.

Don McLean has said that he often thinks of the lyrics to The Saga Begins when performing American Pie.
