Weird Error :(

Hey guys,
I just baught HL2 and installed it, but somehow the game doesnt want to run and this is the error it gives me in a windows pop-up box.:
The instruction at "0x241d90a7" referenced memory at "0x00d2f5c0" . The memory could not be "read"

Could somebody halp me out here? i realy want to start playing Razz

Well somehow when I launch the game from steam it doesnt give me that error instead inside half life while the new game is loading i see this messege : Node_graph out of date...Rebuilding and then it just hangs at a black screen with the Half Life 2 logo :/

I used to get this error in the first Half-Life game. It was caused (if I remember correctly) by an overheating issue. Of course if this is no longer a problem for you then I'm no help at all.
