"We'll see... about that!" *Very minor Episode One spoilers*

What does "that refer to when the Gman says "We'll see...about that!" at the beginning sequence of Episode One? And furthermore, the fact that the vortigaunts have purple skin, is it anything more than for visual effect?? I'm only at the beginning of Ch. 4 Urban Fight, so please do not reveal anything to me which takes place after that chapter.

K firstly this should be mentioned in the episode 1 section but no one here on the forums knows for sure what the Gman meant by that or what the purple vortigaunts represent but it was stated by Gabe that they are some sort of third party.
It's left to speculation until the release of ep2 where hopefully we will get some answers.

"We'll see...about that!" is a taunt to either Gordon or the vortigaunts holding him, his way of saying "You cant keep me here for long suckers!"

The gman is confident he wont be hindered for long, and he's probably right.
