What box art did you get and where did you buy it from?

For STEAM option, the question would split in "Which cover did you print for your DVD-burned backups?" Or you could just leave a STEAM option as single choice.

Got silver, but all the stores here only sell Gordon copies, so there wouldn't be mush choise.

Maybe I should explain why I am asking this question...

Online stores don't give you an option to pick your box art. What you get is random (well, not random, but random to the person buying it). I am just curiouse what people have gotten at online stores (and what stores they ordered from).

I've ordered from mindfactory.de , a german online shop and got the usual DVD-Case with a close-up of Gordon.

G-Man, Gordon flying off shelves - Alyx not moving

I got Gordo myself at Best Buy. When I got it on the 16th, it looked like there were equal numbers of all three boxes.

Looking at the display today you'd think the game is all about Alyx, because those are the only boxes left.

I'm ordering it online. I'm worried about getting Alyx (being I have no control over which box art I get to pick). I'm hoping online stores just have the Gordon box (although I'd take Gman just as happily too).

Alyx. The store I bought it from (Netlink Computers a.k.a NCIX.com) has all their product in the back, so it was random as to what one the guy grabbed for me. I don't really care anyways. In a while I'll just throw the box out because it's just more garbage that will clutter up my storage area. I don't even know what I keep the boxes in the first place. It's not like the game can be returned at all..

I had no choice in the matter, had to have Gordon on the cover, every shop I've been in has only had Gordon on the front.

since i got mine before the 16th, im sure we all remember the best buy scandel (best buy started selling them before the 16th...) Well My bestbuy wasnt showing them, liek not on display. But I knew that they had it becasue all the bestbuys recieved a letter saying that they are allowed to sell copies.

Well I went there and i asked, "hey do you have half life 2?" And they replied "That's not out yet."

So i explained the situation. The person asked the manager and said that "O.K I can get it for you, just a sec." SO she went into the storage room and i got a tinyy peek for a split second: IT WAS EFFING FULL OF HALF LIFE 2!!!!! SHELVES AND SAHELVES AND SHELVES!!!! She came back out, and poof! I got the box i wnated: gman. What luck.
