Really now,what happened with Barney's sense of humor,i understand they had a train to catch,but he was definetly very serious about this,the only part that made me laugh,just a bit,was when he gave me the crowbar and he said that he doesn't have much more of those :frown:

He has to make sure people board the train to escape City 17 and he is boared up in a building surrounded by Combine and filled with Heabcrabs and Zombies. I dont know if I would crack jokes in a situation like that (well, actually I would because Im like that) But still he wouldnt be happy.

When you said that, I thought of the South Parky styled comic strips they did based off Half-Life. There's two I have on my computer at home (I think). One being a distorted face of GF in three of the frames and in the third, well... wouldn't want to spoil it

The other one has three different scenes with Barney going "Hey, catch me later and I'll buy you a beer!" and in the final one GF's dragging a little cart behind him with like a load of beers.

I'll have to find them.

I would love to see you fight hundreds of combine soldiers, for over one week, with very little sleep, destroy synths, order rebels around, and create DIY bases out of old apartments and still have time to enjoy your life. I understand why Barney had had enough in Episode 1, his new skin speaks for itself, bloody/bruised forehead, sweaty, ripped uniform and generally scruffy, I think Barney will be back with his usual clever remarks and jokes in Episode 3
