I have a chance to play XBOX live on the 360 for a while and the racing games are pretty fun, but the shooting games like perfect dark, Halo 2 and all that are not that fun at all. I'd rather play shooters on computer because of the mouse and keyboard. One of the things I really like is to download demos or traliers of games, that's pretty neat for a console. The only complaint I have about Xbox live is the microsoft points. I can't stand them. It's like microsoft wants money for everything...even to change your gamer tag is 800 points.

I'm loving burnout revenge on the 360 on XBOX live, but I use XBOX live mostly to download demos and those little arcade games.

Xbox Live is great - the more friends you have that use it the better it gets :)

It caters for many games you can't get on the pc, is hassle free, and works perfectly.

I don't have the 360, but I had Xbox live for the Xbox.

Even as an entirely non-social person like myself its really cool. I like when they upgraded the features to be able to chat with friends ( although I didn't have any ) people from the Operating System.

I like the downloadable upgrades/content

I like the voice chat, and the smoothness of the online.

The buddy list stuff was cool.

The only thing I didn't like about it was that you have to pay for it, and its a little on the expensive side in my opinion.

It sounds like the 360 xbox live service is vastly improved in every way, making it an even better deal.

And 800 points to change your gamer tag sounds fine to me. Previously you couldn't even change it unless you bought a new Xbox live account, costing what.. $40? Also, your stats on all your games like your win/loss record would be lost if you just started a new account.

Yep, had XBox Live since the Xbox, was really into Halo 2 on live at the time, was in a top clan before it disbanded ;( then after modders started getting onto Halo 2 i gave up on live, till the 360 came out and i transferred my 2 accounts onto it, now i love it again :D

I'm saving up for a 360 mainly for the Live.

It's pretty awesome. I'm on a free trial at the moment, but I don't think I'll buy it until I get some games with good multiplayer.

I enjoy it muchly. Most the time I'm on BF2:MC and Halo 2. I don't care if MC isn't as good as the PC version - its still damn awesome. Usually sniper or assault, but lately I've been getting into the support option as 50cal'ing a enemy position just feels awesome.

As for Halo 2, I mainly play custom games with 10 or so freinds from school. Nice, fun, freindly games of Zombies or Troy or something. When not alot of people are on a couple of us team up for Matchmaking which is also fun but it seems to only ever want to select Assault on either Sanctuary, Warlock and Beaver Creek or Capture the Flag on those levels. I just want 4v4 Capture the Flag on Coagulation or something. Something that isn't just shoot shoot shoot, run run run. One thing I hate though is the after-game stats. A argument always occurs in that screen when you can talk to the other players. I really hate how people think ''you're gay'' and ''you're British HAWHAWHAHW!!'' are offensive. :| That seems to be the only thing most people say in the after-game stats. Sure, you get some alright people who laugh about a funny kill you scored agaisnt them or they say 'good game' or something but some people are just assholes. It always seems to be Halo 2 I get the most hassle in.

£20 for a whole 12 months of playing, I think thats great.

Aye i agree, it kinda put me off Americans for a while when i started getting all the British insults on Halo 2, but then i came on here and realised not all younger americans are c*unts ! :D

I'm sure it'd be just as fun though :P

Xbox Live is what MAKES the 360 fun for me.

Yea, Xbox Live just plain rocks out and takes center stage... I can't imagine a next-gen system without this sort of online component now :P Call me spoiled...
