I was expecting more of a plot shift in this one....not much has changed....apart from the citadel blowing up (which we knew it would).....and at the end of the game, whats that all about.

I think that's something that happens throughout the episodes, but weren't there supposed to be audio files of G-Man saying "Get back here!" and snarling? What happened to that?

Alot has happened.

Gman has lost control over you.
The Vortigaunts are making a stand.
The Combine are cut off from Earth - all Citadel portals have shut down, and their communications severed.
They destroyed the Citadel to get a transmission out.
The resistance is now in full swing. People are breeding again (hehe), they are deploying an array of defences to combat the Combines return and training a new generation of scientists.
We've a copy of the transmission.
Mossman is searching for something in the Arctic.
The remaining Overwatch forces on Earth are attempting to regain contact.
The Advisors are re-establishing leadership after Breens mismanagement of the assimilation program.
The Gman will be trying to re gain you...
