What is the big guy in the first one? Doesnt look like anything ive ever seen in HL1.
That flying thing in the background looks like its from HL1 though...

And what do you think of those skinny slave-like things that walk around? Why the hell would they need those when the combine can push buttons themselves? Anywho, sry if this has been posted...wouldnt know what to search for.

The first one is an alien species that is a machine-like animal (sortof like insect) that the combine conquered and force-evolved to their needs.

The second is a "repatriated human" I think it was called, just a stripped down human running on saline solution and lobotomized to be combine slaves. Yes, combine can push buttons, but this is just so much cooler.
