Where can i download weapon models for the singleplayer/deathmatch for halflife 2, halflife2.filefront doesn't display a page for me so i couldn't check there.

this is the wrong place to ask this question. dont make user accounts just to ask a specific question. google it .
type "hl2" "skins" im sure u will find something.
and if u have to ask a question in the wrong forum dont do it 2wice and spam . a moderator will move it to the apropriate place.

Well for one i didn't make an account just to ask a specific question, i have tried googling it before i ever asked the question, the main site halflife2.net has a files section which doesn't even work, theres no sticky on answers to questions like this one, and if a question about models/skins doesn't go in the models/skins forum or general editting, please tell me where it goes nicely instead of being a prick about it and assuming stuff.
BigBrujah has some good points. That files section is still under construction, like much of the front page, I don't think there is an extracting models sticky (Haven't seen enough posts to warrant one though), and I actually think this is the right forum for the question.
Do the mean the actual standard models? Because if you are, you're looking at it wrong, instead of downloading the models, you can extract them from the game.

For the most part ignore it, except the "EXTRACTING YOUR HALF-LIFE 2 MODEL" part and the program download links.

actually u did make an account for hte sole purpose of asking thi question its the only thing you have posted on this forum. what you should have done is sent a personal message to the admin or a moderator. i wasnt trying to be a prick it just comes out that way sorry.

Well no not extracting models, replacing models with someones made ones, like you could do in the first half life and counter strike, i can't seem to find any, just skins for current ones, hell i can't even get custom cfg files to work correctly, it always gives me an error when i try to exec autoexec.cfg that i made and every time i add something to the main cfg file it'll delete it, its really weird, but sorry about that moder, i was just trying to figure out where i could get models, but i'll just have to wait longer for someone to actually make some because i can't find any.
