I got literally 20 bucks on a visa gift card...I have two choices...spend it on DOD or another game thats exactly the same price. I like that game a lot and enjoyed the demo...DOD on the other hand Im not sure about.

Is the game worth it?

Are there a lot of populated servers?

Hows performance compared to CS? (IE if I run CS at 30-50FPS full settings right now, how will DOD run with HD and the same settings compared to that?)

Thanks guys...if u really wanna know...the other game is Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield. I got the demo like a year ago and still occasionally play it today...if I had the full game I could probably get a lot more out of it....let me know what you guys think!

DoD:s runs slower than cs:s on my comp.

The scene is very small and getting even smaller. But there still are some public servers to play in. Really depends on where you live and in what servers you are able to play.

You play this game in a clan? Or just play in public servers?

Atleast here in europe/scandinavia the scene isn't that big, I hardly see new clans, matches always with the same clans. I only have seen many clans quit and move to back to 1.3. And there's only like 7 active clans in CB.

Compared to like cs:s or cod2 the scene is really small.

Don't know about the scene in the USA. But if you live in europe and just play in public servers then the small scene won't bother.

Yeah clans move back because they CANNOT accept change. This is a very frustrating issue for dev's, they want to expand their game but no one is willing to go along with it. IE Too afraid to learn a new skill.

Compare the CS:S scene to CS 1.6, CS:S isn't even HALF the size of 1.6, between DoD and DoD:S its roughly half, I've been checking number of gamers playing each, DoD:S has half what DoD usually has an CS:S is about a third or so(normally) of what CS 1.6

Don't get me started on CoD2, that game has a nice doomed future with the protesting that I saw about patching.

Actually clans mostly move back because they get pissed by the randomness of the game. Well the randomness slightly went a way with the Garand patch but still the mp44 and Bar need more luck than skill.

But of course there are these whiners who just want dod:s to be 1.3 with new graphics :/
