Will do anything to play hl2 faster...

I actually went to bed at like 6 o'clock EST and set my alarm for 3 in the moning (12:00 PST) and then played until I had to go to school. I thought about taking a supersonic jet to Fiji or something but I didn't have any money or transportation. Did anyone else do anything crazy to play it as soon as possible?
