No, not about an Episode 3 announcement.

In Episode 3 I think it would be really cool if DOG was one of our companions for a longer time. I'm thinking give him a new AI so he can follow us around and fight like Alyx or the vortiguant in Ep 2. We've seen DOG fight before, but only in scripted sequences. He has a lot of potential to be our coolest companion yet.
Potential moves:

• 
  charge through groups
  crush enemies with giant robot hand
  wrestle hunters (break legs, tackle, etc.)
  guard Gordon with body
  throw combine to kill others
  Gravity gun AI

Again, this is just me fantasizing. I don't actually expect it. What do you all think?

Edit: I was also thinking, so that we're not left just sitting back and watching DOG kick ass, the combine rollers can make another appearance. If DOG gets covered in too many, he gets stunned or shuts down, so we have to protect him.

It'd be hard to recharge his batteries though. He probably consumes a hell of a lot energy, given he almost never stops running around. Yeah, It would be cool, but not through the entire game.
