Work: at the end of my rope

k some people here remember my problems with my co-workers from past threads ..so this is no surprise to some of you: my co0-workers are driving me to the point of going postal ...I've never worked with such an inconsiderate stupid group of people in my life ...ok there's lots of nice good people here but it's the annoying ones that stand out


...so I finally moved to another office to get away from the old area I was in which was full of customer service people and all I heard all day was their conversations, I'm thinking I finally have peace and quiet ...boy was I wrong ...there's only one other guy in my office ..I really quiet nice guy but he's on vacation ..so my office has become the drop in center for employees who need a spare computer (sales people all have laptops but a few arent working so they come to my office to use the spare one)

about 20 minutes ago a client that my company works along side with dropped in to use the spare computer ..this woman is heavily perfumed ..to the point where I literally gag when she walks in ...she's also terrified of the computer and constantly asks me stupid questions like "is this computer plugged in?", "where's the on button", "how do I put this phone on speaker phone", "do I dial 9 before calling out or just hit this "outgoing calls" button?"

she's eating a candy right now while talking on the phone making loud lip smacking sounds ..loud enough that I was walking towards my office and I could hear her smacking away ...wtf is wrong with people? when did people become so ****ing clueless that they dont have ANY consideration for the people they work with? ...she keeps dialing out to people using the speaker phone ...I mean is it that much trouble to lift the receiver to make a call? ...I've memorized all the key tones on the phone ......and she's only been here for 20 MINUTES!!!!!


maybe it's just the company I work for but we really seem to hire idiotic people ...probably why so many workers keep getting fired

hmm... Your going to have to figure out a way of getting her out of there. Maybe you could do something to the computer so that it won't work properly (but you can easily change) and tell her she probably can't use it until its fixed.

....right now as I'm typing this she's on the phone with her mechanic and her cell phone is ringing ...a fellow employee just popped her head in my office gave her a strange look and looked at me as to if to say "wtf is she doing here" ...I just shrugged my shoulders and pretended to strangle myself

I've never had a job where I didn't have to deal with some useless, annoying skin-bag.

It sucks....in fact, there's one next to me right now. She does nothing and, worse, she's bad at pretending to do something. She puts this shading over her monitor so you can't see that she's browsing the internet all goddam day, she gets here at like 6:00a so she can leave at 2:30p, she reads magazines in the morning until the other people start coming in and she's on the phone CONSTANTLY. Useless. She's been here for like 25 years, so she's rather untouchable without begging for a lawsuit of some kind. Absolutly useless.

if not you can drop remarks about her stupidity to the point that she won't want to be around you.

ask if you can have the second computer moved, as it's causing disruptive behavior in your work environment.

at the very least make your opinion known... people won't change and they won't know they are bothering you until you tell them so.

I did it to my IT teacher at school once. It took her ten minutes to figer out what was happening.

Tip: Switch the right and left mouse button function! That must help too. I guess that you know how to do it but ask me if you want me to explain it.

ya I'm trying to figure it out without having to do too much ...I dont want her calling someone and they discover what I've done ...I could just create a flash projector of the screenshot put it on fullscreen and it doesnt matter how often she clicks she wont be able to go anywhere ..and it's easy to disable it as soon as she gets up to ask someone ...good thing she's not all the bright to have learned how to call other employees extensions ...ya she's that dumb

You could just improve your life almost-instantly by setting it up so she gets fired for incompetancy or something. Doesn't sound too difficult to set it up :E

Just unplug the monitor, not all the way, but enough so it is black. She is probably dumb enough to be too afraid to look being the computer. The mouse and keyboard would work well too, that was it looks like the computer is locked up, and she is probably too dumb to restart the computer to find out that it still doesn't work, and then again too stupid to look behind the computer.

well that's why I moved in the first place ...I asked my supervisor if I could move because I couldnt concentrate with all the noise ...I doubt they'd move me ...and besides the fact she is an idiot the boss tolerates her because she's one of our clients
