The fact that the backup feature on Steam doesn't backup your saved games. I should've guessed really but I didn't. Now I have to work my way back to Kleiner's lab after the teleport from the Citadel. again. :frown:

You can use the map command in console to go to where ever you last were. Just type:

map <map name>

Just make your own backup of the saves. The back up feature is just like the installation cds.

you don't need to re-download the updates or verify your install files again though. that's why i did it. it takes an eternity to decrypt em all
