The Verc Collective have published a rather interesting interview with Yahn Bernier, compliments of HalfLife2.Net community member Pendragon who initially e-mailed off the set of questions. The interview specifically targets the machanica aspects of the Source engine and what we'll be able to do with development projects. Here's a piece of what took place...

Pendragon: What formats will Source/Hammer support as outputs for videos we create?

Yahn Bernier: The output is just intermediate still frames, so you can spit them out at any resolution/framerate you want (depending on how patient you are I suppose).
