Unlike most lists, this one reflects my current taste in music pretty well. I'm curious as to how 2010's in going to look.

This is up to October 31st, so it sounds about right. I listened to Totems Flare and Turning Dragon a ton when I was in Toronto though, so realistically Clark should be in 3rd place.

1. Oasis 490
2. Arctic Monkeys 226
3. Florence + The Machine 151
4. Maxïmo Park 142
5. Doves 104
6. The Enemy 101

1. Slightly Stoopid - 1112
2. The Detroit Escalator Co

4. Biosphere
5. Sound Tribe Sector 9
6. Carbon Based Lifeforms
7. Bluetech
8. Solar Fields
9. TV on the Radio
10. Neo - 176

Only put play counts for 1 and 10 cause im lazy. This isnt very accurate though, since its only from my main PC, and 60% of music I listen to is on my iPod, and another 5% is on my laptop.

1. Explosions in the Sky - 584
2. The Walkmen - 497
3. Daniel Johnston - 374
4. Motel Motel - 259
5. Fanfarlo - 246
6. Slow Club - 233
7. Peter and the Wolf - 219
8. Do Make Say Think - 217
9. Dark Dark Dark - 198
10. Sigur Ros - 193
11. {{{Sunset}}} - 188
12. A Silver Mt. Zion - 163
13. Beach House - 162
14. Pietro Mascagni - 148
15. A Whisper in the Noise - 143

I listened to way less post-rock than I used to. I'm mostly ok with this, except Pietro Mascagni being on there is really strange. I think it's because I had two versions of one of his operas, each with 22 tracks, so it keeps playing when I have shuffle on. But I only like a few of the tracks.

The Last.fm scrobbler uploads data from your iPod when you plug it in!

Yeah except I haven't plugged my ipod in for a LONG time and also I don't use itunes for ipod management so I'm not sure if it's done that. It definitely used to. Plus there would be a much higher abundance of party music on my last.fm since my ipod is generally the one we listen to music from when we have people over to chill/drink (pretty much every night). All the stuff on that list is what I listen to in my room, which is Slightly Stoopid while I'm rolling joints (lol) and CBL/Bluetech/Solar Fields etc when I'm chilling.

The abundance of Detroit Escalator Co is sort of surprising but I did listen to it a lot earlier this year, since I was getting a little tired of Biosphere.

I haven't used Last.fm in quite a while (keep forgetting), but I'm pretty sure I know my own general stats off the top of my head. Alright, here goes.

1. El Ten Eleven
2. Boards of Canada
3. Bibio
4. The Shins
5. The Whitest Boy Alive
6. Beirut
7. Tycho
8. Midlake
9. Grizzly Bear
10. Empire of the Sun

I'm a bit upset with this. It seems so generic!

Oh u.

I don't use last.fm. Who knows--I listen to a lot of rare stuff on Youtube these days, so that would probably tip the scales a bit from what I usually listen to.

Don't use it much obviously, but I have all those bands on my computer, and its still a pretty accurate representation of what I listen too, though not necessarily in that order.

Everything because last.fm is now a ****ing paid service outside of US: 0 plays.

What?!

Also

You're back!
HELLO.

Yeah, well not the myspace social page crap but the radio thing. It's pretty cheap but the idea that I'm paying for something because of my location is kind of offputting.

****ing copyright laws.
