Zboard

He gave you a link.

It's a keyboard, and for popular games they come out with different layouts you can put on the keyboard you already bought.

They had one for...Doom 3 I think it was...Also Desert Combat or something...can't remember exactly.

Okay, but what does it do?

All I got from the website is that you can remap your keys different from the default settings. Something that you can do in any game in the options.

Yea, but it has them all in an easy to get place, its meant to make your gaming quicker.

Realy??? Link plz....

it's not available yet, it's "coming soon" check the zboard link above and go in as US or UK, it's mentioned on one of the first screens

I game just fine on a normal keyboard. I don't have HUMUNGO fingers so it's all gravy for me.

Ah the link wasnt there when i posted. I remember now. thx.

It's twelve noon here on the east coast and the page says a half life 2 layout is available now. Try again.

ZBoard is good if you have big fingers, or for games which have a lot of key options

For HL2 you just need like +use, sprint, fire, jump, crouch, and the ai follow button and flashlight... you could use mouse for weapon choice, or the Q last used key...

totally worthless unless you are a newb to PC Gaming.

Not realy iv been playing for about 4yrs and i didnt realy want it any ways but now that im gettin one i think its gonna be fun.

It all played out from this (We are in my Local gaming store):

RH: "hey mom we need a new keyboard. Mabey you can get me one for xman?"

Mom: " oh ya thats right... how about this one?" *she picks up the zboard*

RH: " Thats ok i only need a decent keyboard...."

Mom: " No,no,no... I know how your in to the computer gaming and stuff... it can go along with your new Video chip thingy!!!"

RH: "W/e mom"

Nerd that works at store: " Its the best you can get the best results in your Fragss" :dork:

RH: " ok jesus grabit and lets get out of here then!!"

I guess i cant go wrong....

I love walking into a computer shop, pretending to know nothing then asking them a really hard question.

"Oh, thats an AMD 3200+ Chip I see...Does it run at 3.2GHz?"
"Uhh no."
"Oh ok, do you know what the stock cooling temperatures of when its idle and when its loading, should be? Oh and the L2 cache, how much has it got"
"*insert imploding head*"

Heh, but that's probably a standard question and is exactly why AMD calls it a 3200 so people who don't know will either ask or assume it's a 3.2ghz. Where if they ask the salesperson, they should tell them it compares to a pentium 3.2ghz.

murgh, i was talking to a 'so-called' pc gamer the other day (he must lie about being a pc gamer, the only game ive seen/heard of him playing is Star Wars Galaxies on the pc, the rest of the time he's going on about Halo 2)... he thinks AMD upmarket their products and the 3200+ isnt at 3.2ghz, therefore it must be shit. Then again this is from a guy that says a Nvidia FX5700 is the best on the market for graphic cards :p and Windows 2000 is an unstable OS. heh.
