cool, will watch right now.

On a semi related note, where did the Zelda Phantom hourglass review go?

It's still there on my screen.

Anyway good review, I agreed with pretty much everything he said even if it isn't one of his funniest reviews. :)

hehe that was good, i thought he would rip it apart tbh.

I haven't played it but he is right - I've got a computer that can run it so I might as well take a look.

The site won't load for me, anyone else getting this problem?

edit: nvm, working now.

I ran it on high.

I liked it, even though I have beefs with enemy loadouts, as usuial.

I actually just downloaded the demo. It's... alright. The graphics are quite good and I was really surprised at how well the game ran at even high settings, but it's not particularly compelling for me, gameplay-wise. The nano-suit is cool but the interface for it is kind of cumbersome, and aside from that it's just Far Cry with nicer graphics and better physics.

Far cry was a good game though... If i were to score crysis i would give it an 8/10

Far Cry was an excellent game until... you know.

I didn't play the entire game, but I heard the same thing happens with Crysis.

Yep. And when invisable, they get the feeling you're "there" with their lights and laser pointers.

Invisible on Crysis? I've never gotten spotted while invisible. I've walked right infront of guys infact.

i guess your copy came with the extra Ninja feature with it.

When they're using flashlights or laser pointers, and I intersect them, they'll sey "Huh!?" and normally shoot me.

This is on Delta, have not tried lower settings.

Sadly, this "shooting" doesn't actually do damage to you, even if it hits. It DOES alert others, though.

Yeah, I was satisfied with the AI, except for the fact that boat patrols would aim from like a kilometer away with a machine gun and hit me...

Yeah those boats where without a doubt a pain in the everything.

The crazy accurate aim is a ****ing laugh in both Far Cry and Crysis. I especially love in Far Cry how a guy in a tower on the next island can aim directly at you 100% and not miss with a rocket launcher.

Awesome review. Man, if he raves about the graphics then it must be pretty sweet indeed. I will not even try to play it until I get a rig that will do it justice. It should also have dropped in price by then as well. :E

I jumped in the water, dove down a bit and swam to the boats, followed one around and bounced around the edges until I managed to hop into the boat. Then you can shoot the two guys inside and commandeer the boat. Then I took out the other boats with my new toy.

I liked to use strenght mode, take an explosive barrel, throw it into a house (full of koreans) then shoot it with the pistol while it's in mid air. Damn that is awesome. Too bad it's so hard.

I've got an unopened copy of the Collectors Edition for 45US if anyone's interested.

I dunno why, but tranqilizer darts fired at a Jeep's hood will blow it up after like 2 or 3 shots.

That's because the vehicles in this game are horribly fragile. Death-traps, really.

I use them to run straight to the middle of an enemy base, get out of the car quickly, then shoot the gasoline tank on the back. That's more useful.
