i was thinking clip brushes...but hmmm. i tryed to parent the rope to the player, but didnt work dam. things dont seem to stick to the player. with the Timer... Well yes i want a timer to show on the screen.....If this cant be done, Then is there a tutorial on how to add a PROP...

so you cant add a timer on the screen to show a countdown? also with the rope thing....Yea thats cool. Do u know any tutorials i could use for this? i mean i could use brushes as the actual object attached to the player and a rope leadin from it.

o ok cool. Also when you all say SELF SHADOWS...do you mean Gordons shadow? Or player shadows? Cause i swear in HL2 and HL2-EP1 there r NPC shadows?

i loved the trailer! However...It looked Cut-Scene like. Now i know in Hl2 there wont be cutscenes. So when we play this game, will we see all of these scenes from FPS? i know sounds like a simple question. But when u watch the trailer alot of the scenes werent First Person

Please Please help me!! I want Models from CS:S in my HL2 Levels im doing. I love the trees and grass, also the models are great in CS:S. What i have done is taken the Models folder from the CS:S folders *copied it of course* Then i put the folder in the halflife2/hl2/models folder...

where are all the models in hammer? I mean i have downloaded some models online and i want to put them in a folder where all the other models are for HAMMER...i cant find the HL2 ones and the CS:S models! plzzzz help me someone! :)

hey guys just a few questions... 1) the models in CS:S are amazing *i mean more trees/grass moving/general models. I would love to use them all in HALF LIFE 2! is this poss????? 2) Where are the BOTS for DOD:S! I mean i love CS:S bots! but no bots for DOD:S????
