Because HL2.net is a news / fan-site for mainly HL2. But HL2 and STEAM is from Valve. So it is news to post here.

What's with some of you people? Can't you understand that this has nothing to do with Valve? It's a third party game that was released through Steam.. that's it! It doesn't even use the source engine. On this update, Valve only helped with the server browser thingy.

Can easily do that with a photo and flash. About the beta interface, i love Steam and all it stands for, but i have to say this: fire those designers, now! It really seems someone was having fun learning how to use filters in Photoshop... Remember kids, most of the times, simple is better...
