The more that I look at the ship, the more I think that it might not necessarily be a ship at all. I think it might be a giant cell-phone tower or 802.11 router.

Current Analysis: The weapon is Gordon. And/or access to the G-Man's stable. End of HL2 implies as much. The "Vault" is most likely the ship. Then again, it could be... y'know.
