The FXAA injector can be used to add any sort of filters to the graphics as well. Check out skyrim nexus for mods. There's actually some quality ones already out, like improved faces/bodies/eyes. Plus a few texture packs that look somewhat interesting.

The block perks are awesome. I actually find the combat to be very dynamic and challenging with a shield/sword. Plus shield bashing enemies just never gets old, especially with slow time. I might have to try that grind technique... Speaking of armor types, I've been trying to decide the same...
