I second System Shock 2 and Dead Space. FEAR to an extent too, but it didn't really have the kind of the scares that work on me the best. If you didn't guess already, eerie half-dead spaceships make me ****ing mental.

Vanilla servers are more like saffron in terms of availability these days, though. On topic: are we posting good relative scores or just as high as you can get? It's not a huge problem to get hundreds if you have a non-map-changing server and some free time.

Sad news indeed. If I wanted to download >1GB files fast and reliably, Filefront was always a good choice. ...and yet Fileplanet prevails. Where is justice when you need it?!

Yeah, the thing with guitar is that you can't really do anything interesting until your fingers are callus-covered. I guess it's a matter of opinion, but I thought the ending could have been much better. It felt like a forced, confusing mystic cliffhanger. I wasn't expecting much closure, but it still felt cheap to me. The game wasn't bad, but throwing in something new once in a while doesn't hurt.

Oh, I pop up every now and then. I'm not overly active but you'll see me from time to time mostly in L4D, TF2 and general gaming discussion. And yeah, I'm one of those '03 relics, those were the times... registered to wonder about HL2's release date after the September 30th chaos.

I normally don't get into RTS multiplayers but it was easy to jump into WiC since it's so team and battle tactic oriented. Had some really fun time playing, and last time I checked the MP scene was still going strong. Eagerly waiting for Soviet Assault.

Especially with that price you'd have to be an enemy of entertainment not to get it. It has my recommendations for sure.
