Hi,

I've read some magazines who reviewed Half Life 2, and I must admit, it's just great, amazing, superior, ... (but who doubted that?)

But I was just wondering: I also read that you minimum have to have a DirectX7 card. Now my system specs are:

Intel pentium 4 2000mhz
768MB
40gb hard disk
Geforce 4MX.

I looked at the site of NVIDIA to know if the 4MX is a DirectX7 card, but I couldn't find it. Does someone know if I'll be able to play HL2 with that card?

( please, I don't need the advise to buy an new card. I know the 4MX isn't a good card, but at the moment I just can't afford a new one, so I'll have to deal with this one :-(( )

I dont see why your worrying - ok you wont get the best of effects but the Source engine is so scalable meaning that you'll still get complete enjoyment from it ;-)

I had a Geforce 4 MX 440 before i got me 5600 Ultra - and it coped ok with CS:Source..... i was getting about 30-35fps - not great but certainly playable - and that was at 1024x768 - so odnt worry about it m8

dude, I have an intel extreme graphics 2 card. It looks mediocre, but it runs well.

It will do fine. Sure, you won't have the best graphics ever, but it'll work.
