6x10 Mapping Competition Announced

Our friends over at PlanetPhillip have kicked off a new mapping competition which will require some endurance mapping skills. The event will include 6 rounds lasting 10 days, with each round having a different theme. The winner of each round can grab a $10 indie game as well as points (also for 2nd & 3rd place) which ultimately go towards a league ranking with the top mapper grabbing the grand prize at the end of the competition event.

It should be good fun and a great opportunity to get good exposure of your map, with it being released in a map pack at the end of the competition. For full details check out the 6x10 competition homepage.

I wish I knew how to map. Designing levels around a theme sounds very interesting - especially if the themes are good.
