A little help and advice please

Okay, if you hear me out that would be great, I have an artistic mind I have loads of imagination and pictures that I think would look great if only I could draw them onto paper, here lies my problem. I am bad at art not because I can’t draw, but because I don’t practise and try to improve my skills very much, So I would like if possible someone to point out where I could go to start building my artistic talent up and start drawing the things I want to.

Complex request I know but if you can help I’d be thankful.

buy a sketchbook, and some pencils/charcoals, a media u want to use though go for a cheaper to use media not oils

go out on a weekend with your media stuff( I have a little pencil tin full of pencils n pens, and a A5 sketchbook,) and I go out and just draw buildings and try and do a drawing and get everything on paper 10 minutes and then move on, doing that will improve your ability to get stuff to paper before you forget and also get better at general drawing of lines,

work on getting the perspective right with as building don’t worry about the detail as much say do one corner of detail so u can imagine what it would be like as a whole, and work on getting the shapes built up

if you have trouble picturing something take some time, look at it break it into bits or take a walk and find another angle so u can understand it more 3-dimensiaonlly

do some big peices still lives like 10 x 20 inches or 20 x 22 this will force you build patience and basic use of depth and wath not. also when trying to draw things from your mind its best to get basic shapes and have a good basis wit anatomy so you wont have to think about.. do the arms go here? or do the legs bulge there. practice from life alot.

i dont know how good you are but just draw all you can and get some drawing books from yuor library any kind of em
