A small piece to the G-man puzzle

Hey guys im going to get straight to the point 1st im going to start off with a small question. Does anyone know what excaly (name of the creature) did Corpral Shepared defeat?

Anyway on to the G-man part.
Now i remember after finishing opossing force and being stuck in that "portal" g-man remarking on how he admires people who survive against all the odds in relation to Shepard.But the remarke that i think gives us a small piece of information on g-man is when he says you remind me of my self (he says this in relation to the whole surviving speech) anyway i think that this means that the g-man himself has survived somthing catistrophic (i suck at spelling) himself
now this is just going to open more questions but if he has gone threw somthing disastirous could it be influincing his role in Gordans story now ?
Could G-man be training/trialing Gordan for somthing the g-man was not able to achieve himself?
Anyway that just poped up into my head.

Many people on this forum don't consider Opposing Force as an official complement to Half-Life story. It's a shame though, it was the best FPS Expansion Pack of its time. Valve is so "happy" about Alyx and Barney, that I think they'll forget Adrian for sure. Maybe if we send a lot of e-mails to Valve, they'll will re-think, and create some expansion with Adrian.

It is official, but it's of little consequence. Blue Shift has more of the Half-Life story than Opposing Force.

That -"you remind me of myself" brings me back to the speculation that the g-man is gordon from the future again(A theory i believe completly untrue). And its starting to piss me off! I think we should all storm Valve HQ and ransack it for secrets.
Could you imagine every half life fan storming valve. It would go down in history, makeing valve even more famous.
