A little OT but, has anyone else heard of some of the neat programs some companies are working on when it comes to finding music? I don't have any links but some people are trying to create programs where the user whistles a tune into the computer and then the program searches a database of music online and tries to find the song with the closest match to the tune the user whistled.

There was a similar site a while ago, http://www.gnod.net . They got the same thing for books and movies. It doesn't work perfect, but it's ok. Mostly popular stuff I think.

i use www.leoslyrics.com its really good. its got a lyrics search so you can type in a few words of the lyrics, and ittl find the song you want. its saved me a few times when searching for a song
