AA not working in HL2

My computer is strong enough to handle AA and I have the latest drivers. There is no difference between no AA and 6x AA.

Make sure that your control panel is set to let application decide.

6xaa will only work with ati cards do 4x aa and you will see a change

nVidia GeForce 6600GT
1 Gigabyte of RAM
Newest driver (84.127?)

Yeah, there ya go then, as Giant said, X6AA only works with the ATI cards, try putting it on X4AA and see if you notice a difference, if not let us know

All settings of AA (2x, 4x, 6x) display as if there is no AA.

show a screenshot and what resolution are you running at? also are you turning on aa in the nvidia control panel or in game?
