About that trailer about Hydra

Hydra attacked a combine, which one is that??? Cremator?(what is that too?im putting stuff together and seeing if they add up propely, like that fireball pulse rifle, could it come from those type of combine? And last of all in where can i meet hydra(most probably not HL2 the main game right?)

Well in the trailer I saw it was an ordinary combine soldier (not elite) that was attacked by the Hydra and he had in his hands a OICW, weapon which was later removed from the game. Same goes for the Hydra , so no, you can't find it anywhere in the game.

The cremator as far as I know is an alien zombie type ( like the stalker) that wears a suit similar to a long rain coat(maybe it's a haz suit) and it has a weapon that appears to be a huge flame thrower.

There is no pulserifle that fires like a flame thrower.

The HL2 Beta stuff SUCKS.

The OICW would have been too powerful for the game, the MP 7 is fine.
Have you all seen the original dropship and supersoldier models? I am really glad HL 2 didnt become a cheap sequel to Quake 2.

The hydra looked good, but really wasn't good gameplay wise.

1. Thar's just the Combine Soldier, with the old model Valve thought up.
2. The Cremator is a Combine Janitor, who cleans the streets of C17 of corpses and such after battle.
3. What the AR2 used to be.
4. No, that was the OICW.
5. You'd have to download the Beta. In order yo do that,y ou have to download Bittorrent and search for it. (I could just give you the torrent, but meh.)
