Addicted to gaming or not

Are you addicted to video-games? how long can you be without them?

Meh, I CAN go without them, and I have. If they're not around, I don't really crave them. The problem is if they are on hand- then it can be hard to resist. So yeah, I am somewhat addicted

Games I can go without; I went a month or so without playing any games. Movies and music I cannot give up though.

I can go with out games for a very very long time before I even start to think about playing them. But they are a enjoyable part of my day.

but like right now where I have really no new or fun game to play....then not really.

I'm addicted to games that I waited on for a very long time until I have finished the story.

I suppose somedays i dont mind not playing any games & some i do. Being playing PC games since Quake/Unreal/HalfLife first came out.

I'd have to say I almost certainly am, although if I've got anything better to do I wouldn't pick to play games over it (eg seeing friends, parties, revision)... However I must say the majority of my leisure time is probably on my computer, or playing games :dork:

Well I do play a TON of games. But if a friend asks me to come chill with them, I'm not gonna turn them down for the games. But if its something like my mom going..."hey...do u want to come to the clothes store and watch me and your sister walk around for 2 hours looking at shoes?" then I think Ill play some Starcraft and relax for the night.

I'm not addicted. I'd rather talk to my friends and girlfriend then play some games. Though when i get bored i'll stick a MP game on or replay an old favourite

I used to be, especially when heavily involved in clans and leagues etc. Now I often go days without playing, but also have weekend long binges with friends.

I post every day, because I like the site.

I'm not addicted to videogames, but I sure like them.

I'm not addicted to the internet, either, but I do have lots of responsibilities to attend to on here.

Well, I've alot of work to do. :E (and it's exam period)
But yeah, I sometimes come on here when I'm bored as well, heh. I'm suprisingly not on as much as I think. My posts are always random. I come on, post, go off. Typa thing.

Also, I sometimes come on when I'm in a bad mood to have a good bitch on.

I once went an entire summer without even touching a game of any kind, but when I got back to it I was really excited and did a whole nostalgia thing, running through my old games again.

I play Battlefield2:MC, Halo 2 (only when all my freinds are on) and, recently, Half-Life 2. Thats it.

I have Black Hawk Down sitting on my desk, but I'm too lazy to install it and play it again.

I did set my Gamecube up recently because of all the Wii/Zelda hype. Its downstairs again now as my sister plays it alot.

Every few months I install Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge, go through it, try and get online, fail, un-install. Repeat.

TFC almost ruined my life!

When TFC first came out I was totally hooked and I played it as much as I possible could (almost losing my now wife in the process!).

Joined clans etc and now got that out of my system. I do enjoy it but I would as much like to go see a decent film as much as play planetside, Oblivion etc.

For me though it beats watching the mass of crap on TV at the moment, DeadEnders, Horrornation street, Big brother, Hollyoaks etc etc....when these come on I would rather be playing games instead....

Need some quality TV back..I enjoy Lost, 24 and smallville but need more things like Red Dwarf, Father Ted etc.

I think most of you still are quite addicted, not like you cant live without them but you still need them to entertain yourself.
