ADSC-Artificial Defense and Strategic Construct
Quote: It is towards the end of the Combine's ruling of planet earth, due to multiple large groups rebelling. One major group, the UED (United Earth Defense), is heading the attacks. A device previously made and set in the ground, named ADSC, is being seeked out to give the UED the upper hand, and hopefully end the war. ADSC is found to be a digital defense system, composed of multiple bio-nuclear devices protected underground, and deactivated. Combines notice the sudden interest in the area, and gain knowledge themselves of the ADSC. Now comes a race, first to gain control; the Combine attempt to not show their knowledge, and when a recon team is sent by the UED to find the exact coordinates, they are arrested and taken prisoner. Many years later, one individual from the POWs is in a ship for transport, and in the middle of it the UED shoots it down. In this, reinforcements are called in and the UED assault team is compromised, yet one prisoner survives: Alexander Newman. He finds the purpose of the attack team, to activate the ADSC. It is now his duty to find the ADSC and activate it, destroying the surrounding areas -- with it the remaining Combine.
This project is set to be released early August, 2006.
