After downloading an update (Garry's Mod) to Half Life 2, all of my saved games gone!

I really do not want to start the game all over again. However, in the "SAVE" folder of HL2, I think I see the history of all of my saved games. I tried clicking on one of the files in the SAVE folder, such as "half-life-105", the game starts, but I still don't see any of my previously saved games when I tried to load a saved game. PLEASE HELP!!;( ;(
