AI does not talk or move?

Has anyone encountered the AI people not talking or moving at all. I am in the water hazard and i need a man to open the door for me, but yet he does not talk to me or move? I have restarted the game but it still does not work? Any advice?

If you downloaded warez, it's your own fault you stinking piece of crap...

If you didn't: Open your console and type ai_disable 0

If its not an illegal pirated version: then the most likely situation is- you dont have the airboat so the guy wont open the gate. did you ever get the airboat?

Oh and just so you guys know... ai_disable is a toggle command not a 0 or 1. so if you type in ai_disable(without a 0 or 1) it will disable type it again it will enable.

I have encountered that bug a few times myself actually. Can be incredibly annoying one, and wonder why these kinds of bugs wont ever get fixed dmnit! :frown:
Well, IF its about the AI problem; Quicksave it standing in different areas/spots and reload. You should try it a couple of times, and also have some patience and wait, because in some cases AI starts working after a while and not in one go...

It happens if you accidentally attack one of the people... I smashed the girl there with the crowbar by accident, and she didnt open the gate after that!

fair enough, well i hope you get it working, one other thing, shorten your fooking signature, we are only allowed 4 lines, and yours is way too long.

Sounds like you bypassed a trigger to make the AI open the door. You may have cheated, etc..

For instance, you noclipped through the level right to the end and then notice no enemies etc are even there. WHy? Because you were supposed to walk somewhere that triggered them to spawn.

Something like this probably happened for you. Just noclip through the door or restart the chapter/reload save.

well, the "ai_disabled" bug only occurs in the warez version, but yours seems a little different.
