Anyone a fan of this guys movies? He's a great film-maker, recieved praise from Steven Speilberg as the greatest ever. If you wanna see some of his stuff rent out Yojimbo and Sanjuro, they're B&W but that actually adds to the atmosphere :)

BYO!

Sorry never heard of him :/, maybe i'm to young or didnt pay attention to who made the film :D

HEATHEN!

He's influenced so many of the classic western movies (by western I mean Hollywood style). The one he's most famous for is Seven Samurai, which is the basis for The Magnificent Seven. And another of his, "Kakushi toride no san akunin" (The Hidden Fortress) is said to be the basis for Star Wars.

I have never heard af the guy eather.

flame me! :D

B&W? Kurosawa was a genious with colors!

Dreams, Ran.

For B&W: How about 7 Samurai? or Roshomon?

Yojimbo and Sanjuro which one is that?

I thought you were talking about Akira the comic..... :(

(i havn't heard of him either :( )

just bring it on :p

Yeah Dreams was a masterpeace for colour.

Yojimbo is the story of a wandering samurai in search of adventure.

Sanjuro is the sequel ^^

They both star the same guy (Mifune something) that's used in many of Akira's movies, and they both kick ass :D

argh.. its kinda annoying when you find a subject that you know nothing off.
