All source does is crash crash crash.

My source engine games keep crashing...(I can't get enough of the new dod!)....sometimes straight to desktop, and sometimes I get a windows error "Program needs to close" and it says the problem was with hl2.exe. Any ideas? System is as follows:
Athlon XP 3200+
Asus A7N8X-E
Nvidia 6600gt AGP
1 gig Corsair Value Ram
40 Gig maxtor HD

What could be the problem here....I'm running on full graphics, no AA at 1152x864....Im pretty sure nothing is overheating....but the game crashes after 5-6 minutes of game play consistently.

the error it keeps coming up with is with datacache.dll.....whatever that is.

Reading up on replies in other forums, it seems to me that you've got driver problems. Have you got the latest video and sound drivers?
