In HL1, in Gordons locker, there is a pic of some kid/baby. Compare to a photograph in HL2 of Alyx/Eli/Azian and they look pretty alike.
Gordon kept a photo of Alyx in HL1? Pedophile? ^^ j/k

Aaand it is.

The photo is of a child of one of the developer's. Now you can choose to believe that VALVe left it there as a little easter egg of no canonical importance or you can choose to believe that VALVe is being very subtle in implying that Gordon is a child molester.

So; Stupid little easter egg from a new and happy father or we've been playing as an alien ass-kicking hero who gets a hard-on for new-born babies. Your choice.

Even if that was Alyx it wouldn't mean that Gordon is a pedophile. Maybe Gordon was Alyx's God father since Eli was his good friend or maybe Alyx was like a daughter he never had so he cared for her. The point is that Gordon shouldn't be labeled as a pedophile just because he has a picture of Alyx in his locker. I know that isn't Alyx btw.

At the time of making HL1 I'm sure Alyx wasn't even designed yet, so at that time it was just some random picture of some guys baby. However when making HL2 it wouldn't surprise me if they intentionally made Eli's picture in such a way explaining why Gordon had a picture of a baby in his locker. And Alyx saying "I'm sure you don't remmeber me" doesn't mean they never met, only she was so young. Gordon was locked away for 10-20 years after all by the gman. And the pedophile remark was a joke as clearly stated in the next sentence, which some mod so abusively removed...!
